Laura Myford Brooks

Program Manager


Laura is a Program Manager at Alpine Testing Solutions. Previously she worked for four years as a Test Development Professional at Alpine. She has over a decade of experience in the fields of education and training, both in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Alpine, Laura lectured in Anthropology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and managed curriculum, instruction, certifications, and exams for the Falmouth Institute, a training company serving Native American tribal organizations. She received her M.A. in Anthropology and International Development from George Washington University. She lives with her husband and son in Alexandria, VA.

Fun Facts

In her free time, Laura likes to collect antiques and refinish furniture. She and her husband have fostered kittens for the SPCA for several years and have found homes for more than 70 kittens. Laura has lived in Germany and Samoa. Someday she will travel across Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway with her father.
